Some Windows users are experiencing issues on with downloading the free Layer Style Preset packages from within the panel. This might have something to do with permissions settings on a system base. I hope to get this issue fixed in a future update.

Before downloading you might check this step by step buide for downloading Presets.

Download Preset Packages

Are you getting a Folder (missing) in your Presets Sidebar and/or an ENOENT: No such file or Directory Error while downloading the presets?

Try the following steps

  1. Select a folder in your Presets Sidebar
  2. Delete All possible folders in your Presets Sidebar by clicking “Remove Folder from List” for all folders

  1. In your Presets Section there now should be a menu with two options. Select “Add User Presets Folder” This should add your default User Presets folder: 🤞
Users\\**[username]**\\My Documents\\Adobe\\After Effects **[version]**\\User Presets

  1. Manually copy paste the presets you would like to be available inside Dresser in this folder

Ignore the Download section after activating in your case.

Every activated user should have received the Presets on the provided email address in an email called: “Here are your Presets for Dresser”.

Download the Presets zipfolder from that mail and use Windows Explorer to get your presets in place.

As said. In a future release I hope to resolve this issue. Apologies for any inconveniences and thanks for your patience.
